As a regional distribution center, Uruguay offers free trade zones, free port, and free airport. Goods can be stored tax free to be re-shipped to any country in the region by truck.
While stored, the following services can be performed:
- Deconsolidation
- Fractionation/partitioning of cargo
- Labeling
- Repacking
- Packaging
Whenever necessary, cargo can be shipped to any of these countries: Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil, Chile and Bolivia.
